Before the big leagues

Talent Mentoring.

Develop your potential. Own your journey.

You've been told you're talented for years. But at the next level, talent alone isn't enough. The decisions you make in high school can shape opportunities on and off the field.

Talent Mentoring supports competitive young athletes and their families as they navigate the path toward higher levels of sport.

Who it's for

You're the athlete

You know how to compete. But who taught you how to navigate recruiting, manage expectations, respond to pressure, or move to a new team without losing yourself? That's where we come in.

You're the parent

You're making big decisions with imperfect information, balancing coaches' advice, recruiting interest, and your child's dreams. We help your family ask the right questions before making the next move.

What we're building

A 16-year-old doesn't need to have all the answers.

They need to learn how to think, ask questions, and make informed choices.

We help athletes take ownership of their development, with their parents as partners, not spectators.

What really matters

  • Athletic and academic decisions: teams, schools, recruiting, and international opportunities.
  • The pressure of being labeled 'the talented one.'
  • Transitions that sport training alone doesn't prepare you for.
  • Habits that stay with you as the game gets tougher.
  • L'entourage, et la place que chacun y prend.
  • The student-athlete balance: performance, school, and a life beyond the game.

What we'll do

  1. 01

Start with an assessment of your goals, habits, circumstances, and support system.

  2. 02

Explore how you respond to pressure, in a way that fits your age and sport.

  3. 03

Navigate major decisions, including US college opportunities through our NCAA Pathway.

  4. 04

Involve parents at meaningful decision points.

  5. 05

    The film session

Once a month, we can review footage of your game. Not just the game itself, but how you respond to what's happening inside it.

Tools may include JP's assessment framework, NeuroSignature, The Bounce Zone for pressure awareness, and BOUNCE 90 for intentional habits. Explore our method

Bounce Film Room

We watch the athlete, not just the game.

Once a month, we review footage from one of your games. Not to break down shooting mechanics or strategy; that's your coach's domain. We look at what happens between plays: your response to mistakes, body language on the bench, and communication with teammates.

5

clips

Three clips showing a strength. Two clips showing an area to improve. Never the other way around.

questions

What do you see? What would you do differently? You speak first.

1

action

Choose one action to practice until the next game. Then review what changed.

Technology helps organize clips. People interpret them. You decide what to work on.

Parents may receive a short summary with the athlete's permission, including what to watch from the stands and what to leave to coaches.

Your coach receives one agreed action item only if you choose to share it.

Two ways to work together

One-on-one mentoring

Personalized support shaped around your school year and competition schedule.

Bounce Sessions: Group Mentoring

Small groups of eight to ten athletes across sports, meeting twice a month during the season, with individual feedback and access to Bounce Nation.

We keep mentoring personal. Enrollment is limited.

Group Mentoring is part of Talent Mentoring. It is separate from our Parent Bounce Sessions workshops and conversations.
