Who does what around an athlete?

  • The coach

    Their role

Develops sports skills, game plans, conditioning, and on-field decisions.

    Outside their role

Coaches decide lineups and playing time. They're not always a neutral sounding board.

  • The agent

    Their role

Represents the athlete in contract negotiations and eligible transactions, subject to applicable agent rules.

    Outside their role

Agents represent contractual interests. Their role doesn't cover every part of an athlete's life.

  • Parents

    Their role

Provide emotional support, perspective, and encouragement beyond the final score.

    Outside their role

Parents are supporters, not a second coach or lifelong decision-makers.

  • Specialists

    Their role

Medical, training, legal, financial, and brand professionals contribute within their qualifications and responsibilities.

    Outside their role

These specialists may not always communicate with one another.

  • The Bounce Mentor

    Their role

Helps the athlete understand the big picture, make thoughtful decisions, and connect the right people.

    Outside their role

We don't negotiate, coach, provide treatment, or decide for the athlete.

We complement the people around the athlete. We don't replace them.

One framework. Three stages.

The framework evolves with the athlete and the challenges of each career stage.

Tools for real situations

Understand how you operate — NeuroSignature

A starting questionnaire helps us discuss your habits, preferences, and responses to real situations. We interpret answers with you and compare them with lived experience. It is not a medical or psychological assessment, and it does not label you with a fixed personality type.

Practice real-world responses — The Bounce Zone

Starting from a real-life situation, you choose a strategy to try, such as resetting after a mistake, getting ready for travel, or approaching a big moment. We then reflect on what happened. The goal is to learn what works for you, without promising automatic results.

Build sustainable habits — BOUNCE 90

You choose a goal, actions to practice, and follow-up checkpoints. Our focus is on implementation and adjustments in daily life. The program name is not a guarantee of results within a set timeframe.

Observe, reflect, choose an action — Bounce Film Room

Game footage becomes a conversation starter: communication, body language after mistakes, or behavior on the bench. We describe what is observable, then invite you to share what you experienced. Your perspective may confirm or challenge the mentor's interpretation. You choose what to try next.

Video can show observable behavior, but it cannot tell us what an athlete is thinking. We distinguish observation from interpretation and always invite the athlete's own perspective.

What the B.O.U.N.C.E. Method is not

  • It is not therapy.
  • It is not medical treatment.
  • This is not a one-size-fits-all online course.

NeuroSignature and The Bounce Zone are not medical or psychological diagnostic tools.

What we're working toward

The goal of B.O.U.N.C.E. is not to make athletes dependent on a mentor. It's to help them understand their options, make decisions, build trusted connections, and take ownership of their own journey.

An athlete who takes ownership of their development.

UNDERSTAND · DECIDE · CONNECT · TAKE ACTION

Tout commence par une conversation.

Get started together

Thirty minutes. No pressure. Bring your questions and we'll help you find clarity. If it's not the right time for mentoring, we'll say so.
